His action was not childish at all. For her to even offer her hand was disingenuous, and could even be construed as malevolent. PLUS, she disrespected him AND the office of the p[resident with her improper introduction. Listen to this introduction from 2020 and then one from a prior year:

I'm not sure, Greg. Are the notes for the POTUS SOTU required to be submitted and filed as official business? Is it customary or required that POTUS submits this to the House for such filing? If not, then it's just Trump getting under her skin and her reacting like a child. Hardly criminal. However, if the doc is required to be filed then you have a point.

I genuinely don't know what is required here. If it's one of those traditional, customary things that are done simply to appear genial but not required by law, then I thinks it's a stretch (and charges would not be worth pursuing). Trump already won by making her publicly lose her shit.

According to that law I posted He only has to hand them to an official. Those papers are signed individually, his signature is not copied. That is a legal document that has been put into the care of a government official.
