Like said, what's on your mind that is NOT politics or covid?

Why fart and waste it when you can burp and taste it?

Nope. No word on when when we may be called back. Could be next week, next month... no idea. All I (think) I know is they would likely contact me on a Thursday to report in on Monday. Don't see them calling me back for next week - they'd have to pay me a holiday day without me working. lol

On another note, wife had her surgery yesterday and all went well. She thinks she's going to go to the office tomorrow. We'll see how much she hurts in the morning. At our age, the 2nd day seems worse than the day after.

So the Xfinity race at Dover was rained out. Instead, FS1 shiwed us a MUCH BETTER race - a Busch race at Bristol from 1985!! What a blast from the past! Was nice to hear Benny Parsons in the booth again. Brett Bodine won, Dale Jarrett crashed I think. The cars actually required a driver!

They (NASCAR) needs to make every race they have on film available to fans in a way similar to Netflix. Pay for the channel/app and stream whatever race you want whenever you want to watch it.

I don't watch racing but it's good sports are coming back. I'm bummed that college basketball didn't finish. FSU had a legit shot at winning the whole thing.

I've been a big-time sports fan and participant all my life, and as a journalist, I've covered just about every sport imaginable. I've also done a fair amount of PA announcing for such sports as dog racing, Little League baseball playoffs, and college basketball and baseball.

But having said that, I can honestly say that I'm hardly missing the NBA playoffs or the Major League Baseball season that have been put on the shelf, so to speak. Perhaps that will change when such things ramp up again, but as for now, I can take them or leave them.

The first Indycar race of the year is scheduled to be at TMS, but no fans allowed. Can't wait to watch Indycar get going again!

WE WERE THERE WHEN THE CART CARS WERE STILL RUNNING. DURING PRACTICE, THE DRIVERS WERE PASSING OUT IN THE TURNS BECAUSE OF THE G-FORCE. WAY COOL!!! AND WE WERE THERE WHEN THE TRUCKS WERE RUNNING, GUY GOT SIDEWAYS ON THE FRONT STRAIGHT, GOT T-BONED AND DIED AT THE SCENE. THAT WAS NOT SO COOL. WE USED TO MAKE EVERY RACE EVERY YEAR. MOTOR HOME ON THE INFIELD, PIT AND GARAGE PASSES. GO OUT ON WEDNESDAY AND COME HOME SUNDAY NIGHT.

I'm going to do some ribs this weekend.

I need to pressure wash but man I'm lazy.

I'd like to take a few kites out this weekend since I just fixed the spine on one of them
