If Trump had made negative comments about HCQ, is there any doubt that Democrats and the lamestream media would have implied that Trump was putting down a drug with many potential benefits?

It probably would have gone away if the ignorant fucking local governments hadn't SLOWED the spread. You know, SLOWING something down means it actually takes LONGER to pass. The only thing that will level this off is herd immunity, just like flu, measles, mumps, etc. The slower those dumbasses make it pass the longer it is going to take.

Greg please tell me that you know better than your last post here.slowing a virus down means fewer people get it and incidents of infection are further apart in time. If those things don’t happen you get lots more sick people. Take a look at the Black Plague. It continued unchecked killing up to 50% of local populations.

Why do you have such a keen focus on Trump? How about posting what some of the medical experts (including Dr. Fauci) were saying in the same time frame? And how about some of the governors (including Cuomo of New York)?

But over time, just as many people will have it as would have had it had we not slowed it down. And, had we not slowed it down by shutting down the country we would have saved thousands of lives due to lack of preventive Health Care, elective and important other medical procedures. And let's not even start about the suicides involved. I'm still a believer in a herd immunity.

I'll agree with some of this but statistic haven't played out for suicides and elective procedures yet.

Ideally it should have been up to the counties or hospitals to determine the level at which things needed shutting down on the medical side.

Herd immunity works if the death rate isn't so high. It also works when people are responsible and not bringing it home to elderly who can't survive it.

That's my point, tho. The death rate isn't high at all, IF you try to clean up the shit data that's been tossed out. Colorado, for example, decided to clean up their data reports and found that only 50% of their covid deaths actually died FROM covid. The rest died WITH covid. There is a huge difference. Working on that scenario, it puts the death rate at much less than 1%. Now, take into consideration those with mild symptom and those, like me who were never diagnosed, and the infection rate soars while the death TOTAL remains the same. This drops the death RATE even further down. From what I 've been able to extrapolate from what I've read, the actual death rate is far short of a normal flu season, when the numbers are corrected.

BY THAT THEROY G, HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE LABELED AS FLU DEATH OR ANY OTHER DEATH, BECAUSE COVID HAD NOT BEEN ANNOUNCED YET. SO ALL THE CURRENT NUMBERS ARE PROBABLY ACCURATE. WITH A SMALL +/- RATIO. AND LOOK AT THAT, A DEM RUN STATE HELPING TRUMP OUT. WOW!
