Dear bbfreeburn:Did I strike a chord with you AW to prompt such a meandering reply? Are you feeling defensive? And, while I may be mistaken, it seems to me that long ago you did post your qualifications.
I'm sure I did, but undoubtedly, it was a "short version" because it would otherwise be too lengthy. But a mini-version ...
* Publicizing the sport via a bowling column for 35 years.
* Carrying a higher average than anyone ever elected to the Hall for 4 consecutive seasons.
* Carrying the highest composite average in the association during the decade of the 1970s. [Yes, I'm old.]
* Winning association tournament championships in 5 different decades, the last of which was the association singles title in 2006, when I rolled a higher scratch total than Gil Sliker and Kent Wagner, both of whom won PBA championships and both of whom bowled on the same squad.
