The upcoming presidential election is unique because regardless of whether Biden or Trump prevails, neither can serve more than one more four-year term. Further, the actual policies and records of terms in the Oval Office are available to be compared and reviewed by the electorate.
Likeability of candidates should be far outweighed by their policies, competence and success, and both major 2024 challengers have had ample opportunity to display such qualities to the voters.
Candidates should be capable of carrying out the strenuous physical and mental demands of the Oval Office and be able to project the American strength required for successful foreign policy.
When comparing the respective records, it should be clear that Trump has had the superior performance. He has the vigor and mental acuity to carry out presidential duties, whereas Biden's performance continues to raise serious questions about his physical and mental competence.
Our northern and southern borders were under control and our immigration laws were followed under Trump, but they've been totally ignored under Biden, who has allowed multi-millions of illegal immigrants to crash the border.
Biden's withdrawal from Afghanistan was a tactical and deadly mess, and under Biden's watch, Putin invaded Ukraine, Hamas invaded Israel with Iran’s help, China is threatening Taiwan, and we've had trouble suppressing forces in Yemen interfering with global shipping.
When all of that is considered, in addition to the massive inflation and crime American citizens are enduring, the choice for president should be clear. It's time to Make America Great Again!
