At age 88 -- and after 66 years in the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers broadcast booth -- legendary baseball announcer Vin Scully called his final game yesterday (Oct. 2).
I have followed baseball since the early 1950s, and I've heard many, many baseball broadcasters, and without a doubt, Scully is the very best I've ever heard.
I certainly join many others in wishing Vin Scully the very best in his retirement years.
