Actually, there is a treaty between the U.S. and Ukraine -- signed in Kiev in 1998 and ratified by the Senate and signed by President Clinton in 2000 -- titled Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters.

The treaty was signed in Kiev on July 22, 1998. Clinton transmitted the treaty to the Senate on October 19, 1999, and it was ratified by the Senate on October 18, 2000. Therefore, Trump was within his legal purview in the entire matter.

There are similar treaties with Australia and China, if I'm not mistaken, thus killing Democrat claims that similar phone calls to the Aussies are also impeachable.

9 if you haven't read the transcript- please do. It is not that long. Then, decide if you are being misled by the hoopla.

And yes. Bill is Write :) on the MLACM treaty....

The Dems will get clobbered in the Supreme Court.
