Country music and suicide

Wanting to keep with the new rules of no bowling, no porn, and no personal info posted in this off ramp forum. Interesting off ramp topic to debate. Ever think that country music could actually make you suicidal?

Damn, Jeff, you're brilliant! Did you come up with all of these riveting topics all by yourself? Some of your best, most interesting work yet! You are obviously on a much higher level when it comes to posting intellectually stimulating material than almost any other forum member I've ever encountered. Pure genius! A suggestion though... maybe provide an opinion of your own on the topic. I think it would really help spur the discussion. As for country music and suicide, no. As sad as some of the old country songs can be, I don't think they would cause anyone to become suicidal. Usually, people who are in that state of mind get there over time, and many things along the way influence those thoughts and feelings. Now, does (new) country music make people want to drive an outrageously gaudy, jacked up truck down a dirt road to a riverbank lined with hot chicks in bikinis to hang out with their buddies to get drunk and party? Absolutely. Great topics Jeff! Keep up the great work!

Or kittie kicking music. Nothing like listening to some hard rock or metal and feel like kicking kittens.
