I've always had a bad back too. About 20 yrs ago I had a ruptured disc in my lower back and had half the disc removed. Just recently, I started to get some pain in the right leg and then the area just above the right knee started to go numb. Doctor told me it was arthritis in the back and it would probably get worse, so that's something to look forward to. :)

Started to do some of the exercises I remembered that I had to do after the back operation and the pain in the leg went away after a couple of weeks. The numbness stayed around for a few more weeks and now is gone. So I guess exercise is something to try for a bad back.

My entire incision site is riddled with arthritis. When the barometric pressure begins to change, the inflammation increases and presses on the nerves and that triggers the icy hot pain in my feet. They feel like they are frozen, frostbite type frozen, yet they burn like fire.
