Dear WAMO:
Indeed, when I was notified by Steve Kuzniczci -- a personal friend who moved here (to Sarasota) from Cincinnati about two decades ago, and who is a friend of the Hoinke family -- I did a complete search of the Internet and Cincinnati newspaper and radio/TV sites, and I couldn't find a single thing. Finally, the WCPO article appeared just before I was about to post the sketchy info without a link.
And as you said, it's sad that such news is so slow getting out.

That is one event I regrettably never made it to when I was bowling. Sad, a great loss to the bowling community.

I had the chance to bowl it a few times. It was fun.
HE will be missed.

R.I.P.
