Well, nothing we can do about it. Truth be told, if I'm going to die in some kind of historic, earth-changing event, I'd rather it be a natural destruction so I could spend my last moments marveling (in fear and anxiety, of course) at how awesome and powerful nature can be.

Ideally, I'd be far enough away to see it happen, and have a few moments to watch it unfold and contemplate life and how insignificant I am before a swift death. Unfortunately, there's also the possibility the ash simply blocks out the sun for an extended period of time in which plants die and food runs out. I don't look forward to that. Sure, it would give me more time to be awestruck by nature and contemplate how I've wasted my life on internet forums, but the whole starvation and slow death isn't too appealing.
