Mini-editorial: Liberal views on sex allegations confusing, to say the least

The logic of liberal positions with regard to many topics is confusing, to say the least, but it would be interesting to delve into liberal logic on the subject of sex abuse and harassment.

For instance, why is there such discrepancy in a liberal mindset that places so much emphasis on the situation involving Judge Ray Moore and as little as possible on sexual misconduct allegations against John Conyers and Al Franken? The lamestream media pushes the apparent liberal position that Moore is guilty, and therefore unfit for serving in the U.S. Senate, but there isn't similar coverage with regard to Franken.

With all of the recent discussions about sexual misconduct, why is there little or no mention regarding the "free passes" given to so many past Democrats, including Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton and Gerry Studds? And how can Hillary Clinton be considered a champion of women’s issues after aiding and abetting her husband's sexual escapades, not to mention the Clinton Foundation's acceptance of huge "donations" from leaders of nations that treat women with disrespect?

How is it that there is widespread acceptance that modern times are different when it pertains to other aspects of Americans' lives -- such as race relations, LBGT issues and women’s rights — but not an acceptance that male-female roles have changed in the workplace (and elsewhere) as well? Some things that weren't considered out of line a half-century ago seem intolerable in modern-day America.

Why do so many people tend to believe virtually all sexual accusations made by women despite lack of proof or evidence while not tending to believe a man who denies such claims? And why aren't some of the claims by women not seen as politically motivated or vindictive, especially if the man involved is Republican and/or conservative?

How are things supposed to proceed in the American workplace in view of the recent glut of allegations regarding groping, fondling and other forms of harassment? Are we headed toward a bizarre situation in which men and women can't share the same workplace?

There is a "woman" at my workplace that is so politically correct that she has alienated the entire staff. No one will sit in the break room during lunch due to her borderline psychotic personality. She has the entire empty room to herself. Always finding a reason to complain discrimination of some sort. Every word you speak can be picked apart and distorted in to whatever she chooses. Management is aware and they even walk on egg shells. She is black, lesbian, and has a Obama/Biden sticker on the back of her car. I kid you not!
