In a recent speech, Barack Hussein Obama said that his administration "didn't have a scandal that embarrassed us." And he added that while officials did make mistakes, there were no major controversies.
Perhaps they weren't "embarrassing" to Obama and his minions, but there were certainly plenty of things that fell into the category of scandals, mistakes and controversies during Obama's eight years in the White House, such as ...
* Accepting the fact that his Justice Department to lose track of guns it was running in Mexico, used to kill a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
* Using taxpayer funding to meddle in an election in Israel, and to spy on that ally.
* Allowing Russia to attack the "very core of our democracy" -- even despite knowing that it was happening on his watch.
* Etc., etc., etc.

* Exchanging five high-level Taliban officials (held at Guantánamo) for U.S. military deserter Beau Bergdahl, while indicating that he "served with honor and distinction." And further, for some of those Taliban officials to have returned to the battlefield.
* Permitting Syrian president Bashar al-Assad to cross Obama's "red line by using chemical weapons against Syria's people.
* Allowing the FBI and his Justice Department to make blatant attempts to prevent the election of Donald Trump, and to sweep all of Hillary's crimes "under the rug."
* Thanking Iran for holding 10 U.S. sailors at gunpoint, and sending billions of dollars in secret payments to Iran in pursuit of a terrible nuclear deal. Further, to have some of that cash being traced to Iran-backed terrorists.
* Targeting of political opponents by Lois Lerner and high-level IRS officials.
* Accepting the fact that his Justice Department to lose track of guns it was running in Mexico, used to kill a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
* Doing nothing as thousands of military veterans waited for care (and/or died) due to incompetence at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
* Sending national security adviser Susan Rice out to all the Sunday shows to lie that the Benghazi terrorist attack was based on a video to avoid political complications before the 2012 election.
