Plamor lanes(almost across the street from this house) is closing in April. We'll only have one bowling alley left here in Huntsville, AMF Pin Palace. Plamor lanes is independent but they have been losing business for a while. Parkway lanes has been AMF since I moved here in 99.

Wow! That is huge pile of rubble! I can imagine the heat in a fire like that, with all the lanes, and chemicals stored in the place.

That's what happened around my area. One house I bowled at went out of business... Left to rot. Another was bought by a trucking outfit for parking space. Another I bowled at is on life support. The only ones that do well are those that can combine other forms of entertainment around the premise of bowling - and drinking / eating.
