We the people "own" those government e-mails

It's common logic: The people who are paying you own your work product and therefore, because we the people are paying government officials, the e-mails of those people are "owned" by we the people.

Whether talking about large corporations or government, it should be -- and usually is -- written policy that all work-related e-mails be sent from official corporate or government accounts and that the corporation or government own each and every one of those e-mails.

Why, therefore, are Hillary Clinton and other government officials, both elected and appointed, not expected or required to adhere to such a logical concept? Shouldn't our elected and appointed government officials abide by standard business practice?

All governmental e-mail exchanges should be conducted via secure government e-mail accounts on secure government-issued computers and/or equipment. We the people "own" those communications, and the government officials should be accountable to us.

She should be forced to hand everything over immediately or be charged with treason.
... but even if called to testify before Congress regarding the e-mail situation, it wouldn't be surprising if she took her Fifth Amendment rights.

Yes we know that, but then that sets up everyone else that wants to do. That is why they won't play the card. IT will effect too many of them.....

If we enforced that we could wipe out 75% of the officials up there:Thumbsup:

She need not testify. If her mail server is confiscated and searched she'll have no defense anyway.
