Fifteen years ago -- on June 19, 2006 -- the United States Bowling Congress announced approval of the greatest bowling achievement of all-time: two 900 series by 17-year-old Robert Mushtare of Carthage, N.Y.

Actually, the young phenom rolled three 900s during one league season at Pine Plains Bowling Center in Fort Drum, N.Y. -- the two that received USBC certification (on Dec. 3, 2005, and Feb. 19, 2006) and an earlier 900 that was not officially recognized by USBC because the league wasn't properly certified at the time. The scores were approved despite taking place during unopposed pre-bowling.

IS THERE ANYBODY -- aside from USBC officials and the Mushtare family -- who believes that those series were actually legitimate?
