SO... WAS KAEPERNICK RIGHT OR WRONG FOR MAKING A "STAND", SO TO SPEAK, DURING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM? IS IT RIGHT TO DISRESPECT THE ANTHEM TO CALL ATTENTION TO SOMETHING ELSE? SHOULD HE BE FINED BY THE NFL? THEY FINE PLAYERS FOR WEARING DIFFERENT COLORED SHOES, SO IS THIS WORSE THAN THAT? SHOULD HE BE SUSPENDED FOR DOING SOMETHING DETRIMENTAL TO THE GAME AND THE NFL? WHAT ARE YOU GUYS THOUGHTS?

It is totally ridiculous that the NFL denied The Dallas Cowboys the right to honor the policemen who were slain in their city, but the league won't do anything about Kaepernick's disrespect for his country. The official NFL position is that the league ENCOURAGES its players to stand during the playing of the National Anthem, but there is no REQUIREMENT that they do so.

Apparently, Colin Kaepernick is engaged to marry a Muslim woman (Nessa Diab), who happens to be a Black Lives Matter activist, and the quarterback has reportedly already converted to Islam.

But will the lamestream media and/or the NFL put any emphasis on the Muslim/BLM connection? Of course not.

If he doesn't want to stand for the National Anthem- fine. That's his choice.

I think the socks were a bit disrespectful to law enforcement, though.

Overall, I think AlwaysWrite nailed it in post #3.
