Over social media many liberals were criticizing TX power grid in retaliation over the country's finger pointing at CA's power grid. Even Ted Cruz has been vocal about the CA power grid. But of course, idiot people completely miss this point:

And keep in mind I know that there were issues in 1989 and 2011.

So, in over 30 years there have been 3 issues related to Texas's power grid. Apparently after 2011 they didn't make the changes necessary for this particular winter event.

CA has rolling blackouts and brownouts for the last 30 years. In some cases it goes on for days and weeks at a time. Every year.

Just because two things happen don't mean they are remotely the same.

But CA is some how championed for how great and "green" they are.
