Baseball's "hold" statistic for relief pitchers is sometimes ridiculous

How does a pitcher such as Houston reliever Will Harris get credit for a save as the result of his performance in the Game 4 loss to Kansas City?

Going into the seventh inning, Harris and the Astros had a 6-2 lead, but Harris gave up four consecutive hits to open that inning, and he was charged with four runs that resulted in a 6-6 tie, although Tony Sipp (who replaced Harris) was charged with a blown save and the loss. But what type of "hold" is a pitcher credited for if he yields four straight hits and four runs that erase a four-run lead?
