I'm still a registered democrat. I registered to vote in 1972 as a demoncrat and have not changed it.

... and of course, be sure that you don't make conservative posts or comments on social media (or anywhere else where those comments can be documented).

Needless to say, small businesses and lower-income people will be targeted more so than big businesses and rich people. The latter can afford high-priced lawyers to fight back against audits and/or "harassment" from the IRS, but most small businesses can't afford to "lawyer up" and confront the IRS effectively.
