What's with the shitty audio for the ACM awards show last night? All those great artists and no Hi-Fi sound for my home theater system?! What The Fuck? This isn't 1950...

I noticed that quite a few times on various shows like that. Even on AI for last few years the audio is subpar. Not terrible, just subpar.

I usually do the Country awards shows. They seem to have quite a few live performances between the presentations and keep the acceptance speeches cut short. I don't care about the awards, but watch for the performances.

It boggles my mind though, that shows like The Voice and Idiol can have pretty good audio, but these others are so audibly disappointing.

I get that it's the Country Music awards, but this ain't 1950's country where low-fi Mono is sufficient because the guy is simply strumming his guitar and singing his song...
