HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jim Peterik, born 73 years ago today (Nov. 11) in Berwyn, Ill. He was guitarist and lead singer for the Chicago-based group The Ides Of March, most-famous for their huge hit "Vehicle" (written by Peterik) in the spring of 1970. He also co-wrote and played keyboards on "Eye Of The Tiger" (the "Rocky III" theme) for the band Survivor in 1982, but here's the aforementioned "Vehicle" ...
