Is Tiger done?

If so, will the PGA be soon to follow?

It's likely been said before, and the sport has persevered, but without the viewer draw he brings will the PGA survive a time where golf courses are closing almost as fast as bowling alleys? Nobody on tour creates the excitement (good or bad) that Tiger has. Not even close. Without that extra viewership, extra eyes for advertising dollars, can professional golf survive, or will it soon go the way of the PBA?

#9....The sad part is...most people who play golf NEVER LIKED Tiger...

But most people who watch golf on TV...Don't play golf...Just like most people who watch wrestling...don't wrestle...

When Tiger is on TV....they show every shot he makes...even if he is not among the leaders...

That's because people who don't play golf watch golf...

Now I personally think TV coverage is way better without him...

However...since most people who watch golf on TV know little about the game...The ratings do suffer...

Golf has enough NEW stars...Jordan, Jason, Rickie, Dustin, Bubba... to survive...
