Mini-editorial: Biden's first 100 days were 100 too many

Without a doubt, President Biden’s speech last week regarding the implementation of "The Nanny State" would have made Saul Alinsky proud.

Unbridled spending and taxation were prevalent, with little or no regard for the deficits that will continue to consume an ever-larger percentage of the Gross National Product (GNP). And if was a return to historically normal interest rates, the massive deficits would crush the nation with just the interest payments.

With regard to infrastructure, only about 10% would be spent on Biden’s plans about roads, bridges, airports, and the like, with the remainder going to fund "nanny" and "green" projects.

The recent Leaders Summit on Climate was telling, in that Biden pledged to reduce carbon emissions by 50% in 10 years, but reductions announced by other countries, including China, were significantly more modest.

President Trump pulled us out of the Paris climate agreement because only the U.S. was the heavy lifting, so to speak. Trump said he wouldn’t do a bad deal, and we need to return to Trump’s policies of “America First” and U.S. energy independence.

The Mexican border situation that Trump had under control is an unmitigated humanitarian disaster – and it’s all on Biden with no solution in sight. One hundred days has been 100 too many!
