NY Jets aqcuire Brandon Marshall

The Bears declined the bag of balls...said they had no use for them...
Finally, the Jets get someone who can go up for a jump ball and have a reasonable shot at coming down with the reception instead of the usual pick...

Seven, I'll bet there's thousands that second your thoughts on the head case that is Brandon Marshall. Can't wait to hear his pouting as he suffers thru Gino or rookie Mariotta (sic). Him together with that other exemplary team mate, Percy Harvin should be hilarious if the Jets keep Harvin
Marshall is a head case when he doesnt get his way. He has got talent but all the other bull that goes with him sometimes is not worth it, besides he is in his thirties now, and on that downward spiral.
The circus has come to New York fellas.

Gentlemen...The only reason the Bears got rid of Marshall is....to try and save some money....so they can pay that overpaid QB they
have...

Fox will not last 3 years....I see the Bears going 2-14 this season...

Fuxxck the Bears...

2015 will be the year of the CUBS...

2015, the year the Cubs will be in contention until Memorial Day... a big improvement for 'em. :)
Getting rid of Marshall was purely a salary cap move for the Bears, they can use that cap space to shore up the D. For the Jets, he's a big improvement for the receiving corp. He'll be a test for our new coach, hope he can handle this guy when things are not going too well...
Pretty good start for our GM, bringing in a bona fide #1 WR all for the price of a fifth round draft pick. This move pretty much puts the nails in Percy Harvin's coffin, he won't be a Jet much longer...

As I predicted, Percy Harvin is gone, shuffled off to Buffalo.

Jets did well in free agency, turning their weakest defensive unit (secondary) into a strength. Defense should easily be a top five unit next year. Fitzpatrick is an upgrade at QB over Smith and/or Vick. Remains to be seen if Bowles allows a bona fide starting QB competition at training camp. Fitz should win the starting job over Smith, he's had some success with Chan Gailey's offense (Jets OC) in Buffalo. Marshall, Decker, Kerley and Amaro (TE) form a very good receiving corp for the Jets QB. Cutting CJ does nothing to the Jet running game, as he was pretty much a non-factor for them.

Buffalo and Miami also improved in the AFC East thru FA signings. All three are going to make the Pats road a lot tougher, remains to be seen if any of them can pass them by.
