Before virtually anyone heard of Craig Sager, he was one of my office assistants in 1973, when I was publicity and advertising director at Sarasota Kennel Club, a greyhound racing facility. I believe it was the following year when he took a position at the local TV station, and his notable career blossomed from that point. May personal friend Craig Sager rest in peace.
