I think English should be required for all US Citizens. One thing I heard in India (from people who lived all their lives in India) is that one good thing that came from the British colonization of India was giving them a common language (English) so they can all communicate with each other. There are 20-some (maybe more, I don't remember exactly) different dialects in India, and prior to English, most could not understand/communicate well with other Indians who spoke a different dialect.

But if you think English should be required and are going to promote that view, shouldn't you also be able to spell correctly (especially the words right next to it)?

I did see a good one the other day, right at the top of a back window of a pickup truck. Said--- I'm ready for Hillary!
And right in the back window was a 12 gauge shotgun in a rack. So I went out and got ready for her too!
