Weather comparison: Isn't it great in the Sunshine State?

Today, more than three-fourths of this nation's cities will experience low temperatures of 38 or below, with many of them having below-freezing readings.

On the other hand, the LOWEST-EVER temperature on any Nov. 21 here in Sarasota, Fla., was 38 -- and that was more than a century ago, way back in 1916.

Isn't it great in the Sunshine State? And by the way, on Thanksgiving Day, the forecast calls for a high of 81 and a low of 69,

Hitting cold weather here in North Alabama early.

Even my sister in Jacksonville FL complaining it's cold early.

Speaking of which that latest tropical storm flooded the city. Took A1A out again.

It may be cold in Jacksonville, but with the exception of two nights in the mid-50s, it has been far from cold in my area (Sarasota) of the state.
