Wheels starting to fall off Trump wagon

Damning video of a 78 year old man sucker punching a black man at a Trump rally in NC. Then the old racist says next time the black man is seen "we might have to kill him". Trump then says he's instructing his people to pay the bigot's legal fees. Wow. Then the mothet of the drunk wife beater, Sarah Palin bloviates about the same subject. America will wake up as Trump reveals more and more of his true self. I hope Kasich can pull off the win in Ohio.

Dear toolguru:

America IS waking up ... and that's why Donald Trump is doing so well.

Please enlighten me. What is he revealing to the public. Are you one of those that feel America is not great? I think America is plenty great. What is it that Trump has done recently that he should be the President of the most powerful nation in the world? Can you name me one policy idea thatvhe has put forth? Do you like the way he speaks about women? Do you really think he has any idea how the middle class lives? Do you really think he cares about them? Do you think he knows they exist? How will he make Mexico pay for his wall? Why is it this guy is resonating with angry Republicans? Why are they so angry amyway? Aren't their 401K's doing as well as mine? Don't they like cheap gas? Are they more afraid of ISIS than they were of the commies launching missles? How is Trump going to create wealth for all? Will McDonalds be able tp pay its workers $15/hr, will they have to. What is it sbout Trump that you believe him ovet all the other liars? Just because he's never held a political office, do you really think he is anything but a politician?

Dear toolguru:

You need not worry. As I've GUARANTEED for nearly four years, THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER U.S. PRESIDENT ELECTED UNDER THE REPUBLICAN PARTY BANNER. Have a good evening.

Disappointing. You completely ducked answering what it is about Trump. You said America is be woken up by him but you didn't say how or why. I've come to expect that from Trump fans

I see it as the american people are sick and tired of the career politician, and do not trust a word they say. They have brought this upon themselves, when was the last time a politician has ever told the truth. Trump is just the man at the right time.

We are either going to elect a blowhard in Trump, or pathetic liar in Hillary. Take your choice.

↑↑↑↑↑ That, right there. People are finally sick and fucking tired of big mouthed, blowhard career politicians who lie, cheat and steal to get elected. Then, spend billions of taxpayers money to pay back the campaign contributions. Trump will be purchased by no one and will do what he believes is right to bring this country back to it's glory.

I think Sevenpin nailed it. At least for me, I'll admit I don't think Trump will be a good President. What I like about him is that everyone else in the media (sevenpin left them out, they play a pretty big role in the fed up American too, IMO) and in DC hate him. He is the Al Czervik in a system of Judge Smails. The media and the GOP (and to lesser extent the DNC) have all teamed up and are trying so hard to keep him out of Bushwood. You can't help but pull for him, because we all know it's not US they are looking out for here.

And like sevenpin says, they have brought it on themselves. Approval ratings and polls have been horrendous for years, but they change nothing. Year after year it's the same old issues, the same lame promises that are never kept, the same the same the same. Meanwhile, avg. Americans keep losing jobs to foreign sweatshops. Then they get to read the sob stories about those poor Wall Street execs who will "only" get a mere pittance of a bonus this year. I saw one article bemoan that some will get less than $150,000, which is roughly 3x or more the median income of most American families. It's $150k more than those who are unemployed because the plant shut down and moved to Mexico.

Healthcare costs keep going up, but nobody will post prices of what doctor visits, procedures, or tests cost. Patients are forced to buy health insurance, but are at the mercy of backroom deals that decide which doctors they can see, rather than requiring ALL doctors/hospitals to accept ALL insurance and honor the same deductibles and pricing for all. Funny, Congress will puff up their chests and investigate price gouging when gas is $5 a gallon, but they won't do the same for the health care industry.

There's plenty of other issues (I haven't even touched on our crumbling infrastructure, illegal immigration, skyrocketing education costs, or Social Security/Retirement concerns) and I think people are simply sick of corporations influencing policy, and are waking up to the fact that politicians do not represent American citizens... they represent corporations, maybe not even American ones, (who buy policy with large campaign contributions and speaking fees). "The People" are just there to pay for everything.

Anyhow, we know any "Party Approved" candidate will be just another shill that will sell our future for a quick buck (and Trump will too), but at least Donald pisses them off. Until people are ready to pick up arms and full on revolt, pissing off the establishment is the only way to get the point across that we're fed up and pissed about being marginalized and misrepresented.

The hope is they will get the point and better serve America by balancing the needs of the many with the needs of the wealthy. A healthy system is reciprocal. Right now it is not.

Not innocent, the black guy just didn't press the issue. The old fart could have charges pressed, the security could be sued for not grabbing the old dude. To \o many things here.........

Yes America is tired of the career politician but then we fall for the first sucker that comes along......

As the great JLS says "That's what gave us Obama." :)

I would be willing to guess the black guy didn't press charges because he may have been the one to incite the incident to begin with, ya think that is possible?

I do agree with you on what JLS always said ...

No, he didn't do anything to the old guy. They were arguing (no violence) with someone in the front row. when escorted out,
the old guy hit them. The old guy had nothing to do with it. I usually respect my elders, but I would have put him on his ass.

You don't suppose it's possible for a black guy to be able to take a punch and shake it off as no big deal, do you? Maybe the old guy hit like a bitch and it didn't hurt much.

I'm sure it happens but why don't we hear about any of these angry, racist, intolerant Republicans starting shit at Democrat events? Why does it seem to be just one side inciting these incidents? Surely if anyone is going to start a violent confrontation it would be those angry, racist, intolerant followers of Hitler Republicans and not the gentle, sweet, innocent Democrats. Right?

I don't understand how anyone's emotional intelligence can be so low that they actually come to physical altercations over politics.

If you believe something other that what I do when I've shown you otherwise (with objective facts), I ACCEPT that you're just wrong and move on.:Biggrin::Biggrin:

Yeah, he might hit like a bitch, but that's not the point. He should not have done it, hell he's old, he should know better. As GTGT says all this getting upset over politics and sports games is just stupid watch the game or the debates and mind your business.:rolleyes::Cautious::p:D

Of course you would think that, wouldn't you? Have you seen the video? Can you see the video thru your Trump colored glasses?

It's about Trump right now. When Obama was trying to get in the news was on the republican protestors. The news just follows the drama......

I have an idea. If you don't agree with someone, nor support his ideals, stay the fuck away from his rallies. If you attend a rally for the purpose of causing trouble and disrupting the flow, then you open yourself up to assault. I'm all for freedom of speech and expression, but the black guy has no business attempting to infringe on Trumps free speech rights. Karma can sometimes be a bitch.

The only thing that updets me about politics is how divisive it has become. I get that people have different opinions, but in the end we're all Americans and we should be able to empathize with the needs of others and compromise on solutions that benefit the country (and not just a handful of gazillionaires). I'm truly sick of both parties' behavior. This no compromise, us vs them, childish name calling, shout down the "opposition", disregard the "other team" and treat them as sub-human culture that abounds is disgusting.

I know my thoughts about Trump run counter to what I just said above. But I do feel the system, or rather the people in the system, are broken. Trump is the only one that can possibly shake the system hard enough to maybe change it. Make everyone look in the mirror and question "is this really how I want America to be?"

And I really don't like Hillary. Not because she's a Democrat, but because I think she is a horrible person. Even worse than Trump. He's just a blowhard egomaniac. Hillary is flat out evil - she has no soul.
