Despite an incident in which two illegal-alien teens were arrested and charged with the brutal rape of a 14-year-old girl in a Maryland high school bathroom, the school superintendent has accused parents and concerned community members of racism and xenophobia.
The two illegal aliens had been placed in ninth-grade classes, and both were reportedly detained at the U.S.-Mexico border in 2016 and targeted for deportation proceedings. However, the lamestream media -- including CBS, NBC and ABC -- have yet to report on the attack, apparently because the story doesn't reflect their immigration agenda.
At any rate, school superintendent Jack R. Smith fired off an e-mail accusing members of the community of racism and xenophobia, stating, "While I know this tragic incident has become part of a national political debate, I want to remind community members that the lives of real students have been forever affected. While many have chosen to engage civilly in the conversation, far too many have crossed the line with racist, xenophobic calls and emails. MCPS [Montgomery County Public Schools] is working with law enforcement to identify those who are making threats toward our students and schools. This behavior will not be tolerated in our community.”
The e-mail made no mention that the alleged perpetrators are in the U.S. illegally.
