Claims that Trump is 'illegitimate' are baseless and irrelevant

Some liberals continue to argue and/or protest that Donald John Trump is not a "legitimate" president, but what exactly do they mean by that?

For instance, are they saying that they have no intention of abiding by laws signed by Trump or that they'll refuse to pay taxes to a government led by Trump? If so, they are demonstrating a detrimental view of a relationship between citizens and the executive branch of the government.

Regardless of the view of some liberals and the so-called Snowflakes, Trump is a LEGITIMATE president. The nation's voters made a free choice, the votes were counted and confirmed, Trump prevailed under the Electoral College rules that have always applied to presidential elections, and the U.S. Congress certified the outcome.

Trump holds the presidency as legitimately as all of his predecessors, including Barack Hussein Obama, and even though some dissidents refuse to acknowledge that Trump is their president, their claims are baseless and irrelevant.
