If Harry Nilsson had put these limes in the coconut, someone would've ended up with more than a bellyache. US Customs and Border Protection officials in Pharr, Texas, near the border with Mexico, intercepted a truck Jan. 30 that appeared to be holding more than 34,000 Key limes, per CNN. But a closer look instead revealed nearly 4,000 pounds of pot hidden inside the fake limes, with the entire stash worth around $790,000. The drugs were spotted thanks to an imaging inspection program and narcotics K9s. KTRK lists some other recent produce-like smuggling disguises, including watermelons, carrots, and asparagus.
