President Trump's own Supreme Court nominee is criticizing the president over his continued attacks on the Judicial Branch, specifically a federal judge who issued a stay on his immigration ban. CBS News reports Neil Gorsuch called Trump's comments "disheartening and abhorrent." He also called them "demoralizing," NBC News reports. Gorsuch made the comments while meeting with Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal on Wednesday. In addition to the "so-called judge" who interfered with his executive order, Trump has attacked the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals, currently weighing the order, calling it "disgraceful" and saying the judges can't understand something a "bad high school student" would get.
