Wonder if that will affect any amateur youth bowlers or any pros? Not sure if any international competitions are being held in the USA soon.

President Chester A. Arthur.
Signed on May 6, 1882.
The Chinese Exclusion Act, which banned "skilled and unskilled labourers and Chinese employed in mining" from entering the US for 10 years, was the first significant law restricting immigration to the country.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Jewish refugees during World War II
As millions of people became refugees during World War II, US President Franklin D Roosevelt argued that refugees posed a serious threat to the country's national security.

President Theodore Roosevelt. Signed on March 3, 1903.
In 1903, the Anarchist Exclusion Act banned anarchists and others deemed to be political extremists from entering the US.

Passed by Congress on August 23, 1950, despite being vetoed by President Harry Truman.
The Internal Security Act of 1950 - also known as the Subversive Activities Control Act of 1950 or the McCarran Act - made it possible to deport any immigrants believed to be members of the Communist Party.

President Jimmy Carter, April 7, 1980.
Following the 1979 Iranian hostage crisis, during which the US embassy in Tehran was stormed and 52 Americans were held hostage for 444 days, American President Jimmy Carter cut diplomatic relations with and imposed sanctions on Iran. He also banned Iranians from entering the country.

Under President Ronald Reagan, the US Public Health Service added Aids to its list of "dangerous and contagious" diseases. Senator Jesse Helms' "Helms Amendment" added HIV to the exclusion list.
In 1987, the US banned HIV positive persons from arriving in the US.

Obama’s administration did stop processing all applications for Iraqi refugees for a six-month time period. (Jimmy Carter and Chester Arthur were also among presidents to restrict immigration by nation state).

ANOTHER THREAD LOGIC HAS NO PLACE IN G. I HAVE 0 ISSUE WITH STOPPING PEOPLE FROM CERTAIN COUNTRIES OR REGIONS FROM ENTERING UNTIL A BETTER PLAN IS PUT IN PLACE THAT CAN FIGURE OUT WHO IS WHO. I DID NOT WATCH THE SHOW, BUT SAW ON THE NEWS ABOUT THE SAG AWARDS SHOW LAST NIGHT. THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST TAKEN THEIR AWARDS AND SAID THANX AND WALKED OFF STAGE. THOSE EXTRA COMMENTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN KEPT TO THEMSELVES. PERIOD!!!

This is nothing more than a campaign promise Trump made that he is keeping. I have no problem with the ban until we can figure out who these fuckers really are.

As to the BS about what countries were selected for the ban, they were selected in 2011 by the Hillary run State Dep't under Obama. Please direct questions about why they were chosen and others left out to them.

So, the question now becomes, did Trump say Muslims from these countries can not come in, or everyone from these countries can not come in? What if you are a Christian in one of these countries, or a Buddhist? Trump has made a dangerous move and it is backfiring on him.....

He better pass an act quick instead of taking blanket actions..........

Who knows like 9 said, if things do go well with Trump and Theresa May, Imogen might be next :)

Then if that is the case no one should be aloud in or out. because they are everywhere.

All of his "promises" Have had to be do with Executive Orders, because they are so far out there that he knows they will not just roll through congress, even with them in control

I think (not sure) the restrictions are on everyone until they can figure out how to tell the good guys from the bad.

As for executive orders, I know everyone wailed when Obama issued them... so it's fair to do the same for Trump. In business I figure he's used to getting things done right now. Congress, even in approval, take forever to do anything. He likely sees EO's as the fast track to implementing his plans.

Most of these were done by EO because they rescind or change EO's Obama put in place as is his right as President. To my knowledge, Trump has not issued any EO that replaces or ignores law already in place, only changes how the various departments under his direction implement them.
