Police in Hudson, New York, have a stern warning for citizens: "If you park your locked vehicle on the street on a sub-zero night with a life-size realistic mannequin seated in it...we will break your window." WRGB reports someone called 911 Friday morning after seeing a woman "frozen to death" in the front seat of a car. Three police officers, detectives, and two ambulances arrived at the scene to find the woman motionless in a snow-covered Subaru, according to News 10.

Police broke the window only to discover the woman was a mannequin apparently used for CPR training. The owner of the car works for a company that makes medical training aides. He says that's always how he transports the dummy. “It is my understanding that the owner was incredulous that we took action in this matter," police chief Edward Moore says. "He apparently was quite vocal and vulgar." No charges were filed.
