Crooked Hillary Clinton just can't let it go, and for that reason, she continues to be "the gift that keeps on giving" for the Republicans.
More than 16 months after she lost the election to Donald Trump, she just can't escape running into trouble when she attempts to explain her election defeat. For example, she recently attempted to clarify the ridiculous remarks she made in India, and in doing so, she only made it worse.
She stupidly indicated that women's votes are swayed by men -- husbands, sons, bosses -- more so than the men's votes are influenced by women. In other words, she indicates that "deplorable" conservative women often don't think for themselves.
If Crooked Hillary had won the election, she would have talked about her concern for the real needs of hard-working Americans. But that’s exactly what Trump is achieving, in the form of higher paychecks, bonuses for many workers, and millions of new jobs, equating to a growing economy.
On the contrary, under Crooked Hillary's "distributionist" policies, those positive economic things under Trump would never have taken place. No matter how you analyze it, a continuation of Obama-style policies would have kept the nation in the doldrums.
As long as Hillary refuses to vanish into the shadows, the backdrop of her scandals, coupled with all of her defensive "explanations" of why she lost, will remain in public awareness, despite lamestream media attempts to shield her.
Democrats will have to deflect such things as Nancy Pelosi’s "crumbs" comment, and it certainly doesn't help that their embarrassing failed 2016 candidate won't go away. Even one of the top Democrat senators, Dick Durbin of Illinois, has said that Hillary's comments were "wrong, and "not helpful at all.”
