Mini-editorial: Universities and media are dividing the nation

Many liberals and the lamestream media are doing their best to blame President Trump for the divisiveness that exists in this country, but the truth of the matter is that many of our educational institutions are hotbeds of divisiveness and insulators of the ideology professed by the liberal left.

Many of our colleges and universities provide "safe havens" for students too fragile to discuss alternative points of view. Free speech is nullified, and students are sissified to the point of needing advance warning for emotional upset and demanding “safe spaces” to further isolate themselves. Any challenge to this is often met with a militant brand of political activism, including anger and violence, and that has radiated into adult politics.

Students are being miseducated, and it's no wonder they are less prepared than ever for the real world, and sadly, they are our future.

Rampant with hyperbole, the lamestream media also escalates the divisiveness. Mindlessly leftist partisan and bereft of self-discipline, they prey on the naivety of their audiences. By utilizing manipulative, exaggerated claims or rumors, they stir up fear and hatred.

Ideologically aligning themselves against the president, the media attempts to delegitimize Trump with incendiary reporting. Never has there been more vilification of a sitting president.

With more than 62 million people having cast votes for Trump, is there any wonder why the nation is badly divided? One need to look no further than the indoctrination being embraced by those two important social institutions.

Trump does enough with his tweets to be incendiary, lol. The country was divided long before Trump, and will be long after as well. It's going to take a moderate in the white house.
