Obama should back off, but he probbly won't

For the most part, previous former presidents left Washington and presidential politics to his successor, understanding that can be only one president and that it was time to back off and let the new president do his thing.

In some cases, it was probably difficult to step away from the power and influence once wielded. Some ex-presidents were more gracious than others, but there's a standard of behavior to be expected from former presidents, and it should be expected from Barack Hussein Obama as well.

There are a lot of rumors swirling around about how Obama will conduct himself after Trump's inauguration, along with concern about the coverage by the lamestream media he might enjoy if he doesn't honor the tradition of "moving on."

George W. Bush didn't interfere with Obama, and the latter should extend the same level of courtesy for Donald John Trump.
