It's because of the constant "caving" that I dropped out of the Republican Party more than a decade ago. I'll always be staunch conservative who opposed virtually everything that the modern-day Democrats stand for, but I can't support the GOP in general, either.
If it wasn't for Trump's emergence in 2016 and later, it's unlikely that I would have ever again cast a ballot for president.
