Not really, it just needs to be called something else, like pick and go. IT would be like a lotto/ bingo system.
You get to the airport and pick a number instead of trying to rush and be first, or you ticket even has the random
number on it. when it is time to get on the plane they start calling numbers and you get on the plane. No cutting, no standing waiting on the door to open.
