Yes, I did read the article (and what it contained regarding solar cycles), but keep in mind that sunspots increase and decrease over time in regular, 11-year cycles, and on many occasions, we hear scientists and "experts" warn that sunspots and solar flares will greatly affect such things as electrical and communications systems, but nothing serious seems to happen -- so far, at least -- in that respect.
