We should all be truly perplexed that so many Americans seem opposed to mosques being built in nearby areas. Shouldn't it be a goal of every American to be tolerant?
Therefore, new mosques should be allowed in an effort to promote tolerance. And because tolerance should work both ways, a proposal should be supported allowing for nightclubs to be opened on either side of newly-built mosques.
One of the clubs, which would be gay, could be called The Turban Cowboy, and the other a topless bar called You Mecca Me Hot.
Nearby could be a butcher shop that specializes in pork, and adjacent to that an open-pit barbeque pork restaurant, called Iraq o' Ribs.
Across the street, there could be a lingerie store called Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret, with sexy mannequins in the front window modeling the goods.
Next door to the lingerie shop, there might be room for an adult sex toy shop -- Koranal Knowledge -- with its name in flashing neon lights, and on the other side a liquor store called Morehammered.
All of this might encourage the Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance they demand of us, and hence, problems pertaining to neighborhood mosques could be reduced or eliminated.
