I got a call from the VA yesterday that I needed to come down and have another EKG done, I just had one done last week and they said everything was OK. So I got down there and asked the Tech why I had to have another one done and he said "We lost the last one". I said what do you mean, he said we lost the print out, can't find where it is.

Well I got to thinking about this, so there is a print out of my EKG floating around maybe missplaced in someone elses file and they maybe prescribed medication that they don't need. Or what if a switch had happened and mine had gotten in someone elses and theirs in my file.

Print out? Smh. MRI are all on DVDs now, no reason an EKG can't be digitally recorded and stored.

Yes, please remember that this is the VA, I had to get special OK from the Pharmacy for them to give me a generic for Plavix, the blood thinner. Getting any name brand drugs is like pulling teeth.
