One of the major reasons health care is so expensive is all the lawsuits it spawns. In countries where only legitimate lawsuits are tolerated, healthcare, including prescriptions, is quite reasonable and insurance is rarely needed. Isn't it amazing that even with the often flawed system we had prior to Obamacare very few people went without care.

BRUCE AND G ARE RIGHT. YOU CAN SUE ANYONE FOR ANYTHING THESE DAYS. AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHY INSURANCE PREMIUMS AND ACROSS THE BOARD COSTS ARE SKY HIGH. BUT I DONT THINK JUDGES SHOULD BE THE ONES TO HAVE THE LAST SAY WHEN MOVING FORWARD WITH THE LAW SUITS. TO MANY TIMES THOSE SUITS COULD HAVE POLITICAL TIES INVOLVED.
