Cubs finally learn to swing the bats...against a Sy Younger....baseball 101...Sy Younger's always get the corners....

I would say that the Cubs definitely have the better team, but if the Series comes down to an elimination-game series for the Cubs, whether the Cub players would admit it or not, there would have to be -- somewhere in the back of their minds -- the possibility of "how can this possibly go wrong" (as it has for more than a century of frustration).

We have Kyle friday.. Lacky saturday...and Lester Sunday...and if need...Big Jake Tuesday...if needed...

Dear JLS:

Those pitchers should certainly (and logically) give the Cubs a substantial edge, but until (if and when) the Cubs clinch the Series, there always HAS to be a lingering doubt about "what could possibly go wrong this time?"

A pink pussy cat???? lol....Oh well....at least we finally got to see the Cubs in the world series.....This place is going to be crazy this weekend...

And hopefully by Sunday we will be World Series Champs...


and Sox fans will flee to Canada...

Dear JLS:

We should ALL be hopeful that the World Series result -- WIN or LOSE -- won't result in either a widespread (and potentially dangerous) "mob scene" OR a "WE WUZ ROBBED" dangerous mob scene in the Windy City if the Cubs were to lose (especially if a crucial umpire's decision were to go against the Cubs.
