1/11 CDC tweets about corona related “pneumonia outbreak in China”
1/14 WHO tweets that there is no evidence of human to human transmission.
1/17 CDC started doing health screenings at 3 airports of travelers from China.
1/21 first case in US for someone who traveled directly from Wuhan.
1/23 WHO again says no human to human transmission outside of China.
1/27 WHO raises alert level but is still saying China has it contained.
1/28 CDC states “ While CDC considers covid a serious situation and is taking preparedness measures, the immediate risk in the US is considered low.”

You imply that Trump was late in instituting a China travel ban ... but JUST THINK about what would have happened if someone like Sleepy Joe Biden was in the White House!
On the day Trump issued it (Jan. 31), BIDEN REBUFFED IT AS ZENOPHOBIC, and IT WASN'T UNTIL EARLIER THIS MONTH that he finally came around to endorsing it.
So do you feel that Trump's action (or an obvious INACTION by Biden) would better serve the country?

I have a hunch you were right there calling him a racist at the point when he initiated the travel ban, too, huh? Can't have your cake and eat it too, even if the democrats think so. At the point the travel ban was issued, there was ONE case and ZERO deaths. What was he supposed to do? Shut down the entire country for NO reason? The democrats already said he'd jumped the gun and acted much too quickly!! The PPE depletion was on Bam Bam's watch. He used the stock pile back in 09 and never replaced it. You really need to get some real news and facts and stop relying on the "Let's-do-everything-we-can-to-screw-the-greatest-president-ever" media.

On 1/28 the professionals at CDC considered the risk as low in the US.
Next day he puts together the task force.
2 days later, travel ban, for which he got roasted by Dems, the WHO and MSM.
Let's also not forget about the CDC's original testing procedure which was faulty. That set us back another two weeks from knowing how infectious this was.
Hindsight is 20/20, in real time we were actually blind as to what was happening.

Keep in mind Trumps CDC and FDA boondogled the original testing. He should have, like South Korea, used private labs. Private labs were behind because they were told that gov't would be supplyin and performing the test. This just gave liberals an excuse for 'we need mo gov't see'. When private labs are performing many if not most tests.
And ultimately why isn't there more tests? Hong Kong has tested 13k per million. We are at 2300. Why can they get tests but we can't?
Ultimately, we have a population that doesn't trust it's government or its media. The people of Hong Kong don't have this problem

Everyone knew how infectious it was.
The problem is that instant lockdowns will cause panic and riots. I mean I had to go to Walmart and hardly anyone was wearing masks. Hardly anyone was social distancing. What's happening in nyc is a liberal media lie, if you ask most Alabamans. The media has been crying wolf for so long that when we need good accurate information, no one here believes them.
